Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Safari - 3 Days

On arrival, you will meet our Driver/guide who will gets you briefed about the safari and later transfer you the northwards up to Volcanoes national park in Ruhengeri the most prominent park in Rwanda for hosting these endangered mountain gorillas which are fan to watch, their possibly about 400 Mountain Gorillas that live in Rwanda. Today you will track one of the habituated Gorilla groups who can tolerate the presence of humans for a brief period every day. The time taken to track the gorillas can take as little as half an hour to as much as 8 hours! Your track will be an exciting journey along forested slopes, entwined vines, bushes and bamboo before you eventually reach the gorillas’ current location. Your guide will point out signs of previous gorilla activity, including dung, nests and chewed bamboo shoots. Once the gorillas have been located, you will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them. Coming face-to-face with a mountain gorilla is a humbling and emotional experience. This is a fantastic and privileged opportunity to get up close and personal with Rwanda’s own ‘Gorillas in the Mist’. Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge - Meal plan: [B, L, D].

After breakfast, you will proceed for either golden monkey tracking or Dian Fossey Grave hike before being transferred back to Kigali for your flight back home. Its is also worth spending a night or two in this safe and vibrant city. Known as the cultural hub of Rwanda, Kigali is home to bustling markets, good restaurants and a Muslim quarter.
